About
A little about me
I’m Nakul Mistry, a Toronto-based UX designer who creates thoughtful digital experiences that feel clear, useful, and human. I’m drawn to work that solves real problems—whether that means helping people access support, making a high-stakes moment feel safer, or turning a complex experience into something simple and intuitive.
How I work
I believe strong design starts with empathy. I ask questions, listen closely, and use research and iteration to turn real needs into purposeful experiences. My background in graphic design shapes how I approach UX: every interaction should be easy to understand, but it should also feel intentional, polished, and emotionally considered.
Beyond the screen
Outside of design, I’m drawn to the things that combine performance, culture, and detail. I’ve always had a passion for cars, fashion, music, and travel—each one influencing the way I notice craft, movement, identity, and experience. Sports have also been a big part of my life. I grew up playing soccer and basketball, and for the past three years tennis has become my favourite way to reset, compete, and keep learning. I bring that same curiosity, discipline, and attention to detail into my design work.
